Childrens parties Wiltshire – A review from a customer

What to choose from with Childrens parties Wiltshire

It was to be my sons 5th birthday soon so I decided to plan the event in enough time. Not wanting to disappoint I asked him what he would like to do to celebrate the event with his young pals. He didn’t quite grasp the idea of different parties. He knew he wanted a Fireman Sam cake and party games that he had partaken in at other parties. With not much to go on I hit Google hoping to find my answer.

Google seemed to offer a whole host of options, this was going to be a long evening with many cups of coffee sunken. Some of the sites seemed a little vague littered with generic phrases with it being difficult to see what you would actually get with the party. Then I stumbled across a children’s entertainer in Wiltshire called Ozzy Wizzpop. Certainly an interesting name, it caught my attention. I imagined a wacky chappy wearing purple trousers who juggled plates on a uni cycle. Far from it! Though that may have been a spectacle to see in hindsight. I saw a short clip on the front page of his site offering a brief synopsis of his show. It seemed like fun so Mr Wizzpop it was to be.

Ozzy (or Chris as I found out later) was great to deal with. He was quick to reply to my correspondence and a pleasant chap. I must say he really was quite good! Even myself and my partner were laughing at many points of the show with our son. Ozzy (sorry Chris) has a charismatic slick way with the children, they seem to adore him from the start. This was great as all I had to was to handle the break in the middle ensuring children were fed and drinks topped up.

The thing that struck me the most was how he kept the kids engaged for the whole two hours. He told me on the phone that he would do this but to be honest I didn’t believe him and I embraced myself for a few kids to run around in the show, to my surprise this never happened – bliss!

I loved the games he played and so did the kids. He had guess the kids theme tune, these were all shows the kids watch today (I didn’t even know some when all the hands went up!). They became very competitive during this which was amusing to watch. He had them all dancing for some dancing games which was good.

Overall I was really satisfied. The other parents congratulated me on a good party which is always reassuring to hear. Oh and the balloon monkey! Our son got gifted an enormous balloon monkey by Ozzy at the end, he was absolutely thrilled and it still up now two weeks later! A great children’s party in Wiltshire
